John James acknowledges the importance of Year 6 residential camps to prepare the children for transition to senior school. Children can develop their skills outside of the classroom and enable them to explore their potential.  A residential camp teaches the children to adapt to new environments and experience new challenges preparing them for the new adventures that they will face when moving on.

Some children have little or no opportunities to take part in extra-curricular activities at any time in their young lives and it is our wish that we can give them what most children can take for granted.
