South Bristol Youth work hard to ensure that young people in Bristol who are easily overlooked, have the skills, knowledge and confidence to reach their potential in life and work. South Bristol Youth are now working with 2500 young people aged 11-18 across 27 schools and 4 colleges. The Unlocking Potential Programme seeks to increase the speaking and listening skills of a select group of children, whilst also improving their self-confidence. There are currently 120 13-14yr old children on the course. The foundation awarded £10,000 towards running the Unlocking Potential Programme.
